French Prairie is a beautiful area for public and private events, and it’s easy to get here. Located halfway between Salem and Portland, the French Prairie community is easily accessed from Interstate 5, Highway 99W, and State Highways 214 and 219.

- St. Paul Community Hall (20239 Main Street NE) – A historic two-story art deco building constructed in the late 1930’s, the Community Hall plays an active role in the St. Paul community hosting public meetings and private events. The facility is a popular and often used venue for weddings, receptions, banquets, and dances. The main floor has a commercial kitchen, separate coffee/dessert bar, and portable salad bar. The upper floor ballroom has a full raised theatre stage, polished hardwood floors, and a large walk-up bar. Tables and chairs are included in the rental fee. The facility is fully accessible to the disabled. An elevator provides disabled access to the upper floor. Maximum occupancy varies by use, but the main floor general occupancy limit is 199; and 299 upstairs. Rental fees vary depending on use, but you may rent the whole facility or either floor. - St. Paul Fire Department (4233 Church Street NE) – The Department has a large open community meeting room available for rent with a small kitchenette. The room will accommodate about 100 people. - St. Paul Jaycees Bull Pen (20025 4th Street NE) – The Bull Pen is a large partially enclosed steel structure with a full roof and smooth concrete floor. Best suited for open air events, the facility contains a large full building length bar and smaller concession booth, and is great for concerts and large picnics.
